Dean Constantine Sturridge might be the most pompous sounding name I've heard in, oh, at least a couple weeks.
Was it the Dean part of the name that made you think that?
Was it????
The word Sturridge sounds less like a surname and more like an unappealing part part of midlands/north of england.
"where are you from?"
"Sturridge"
etc
In fact, I think they should rename Derby to Sturridge. In recognition of this fact, and the fact that he was a great Rams player. Other great Rams players were um...? ... Lee Carsley and... um... that's it?
Nah, Dean is fine on its own. I think it's the Constantine and Sturridge part. ;)
